The IBEW is offering an Electrician's Apprenticeship. I was interested because I had just been laid off, and was open to suggestions. I have a tech background and know about electric circuits. Go into their office, (every city has one) and fill out their form. They give a test every couple of months for math and English proficiency. When you pass the test, they put you on a waiting list. You are on the list for a maximum of two years. If they pick you, you have job secutiry for 5 years, and raises every year, I think. Must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D. If you enjoy electric circuits or if you have no job experience yet, this is a perfect program for you!
